Future Sixer Hall of Famer? My NBA 2K12 My Player

Given that the Philadelphia 76ers are at an unbelievable 11-4 this year in the NBA I thought I'd put this up. I don't know what Coach Doug Collins is doing over in Philly but whatever it is he should keep doing it because they're winning for a change. This is my player from the NBA 2K12 "My Player" mode. It kinda looks like me right? Ok, Ok, minus the 6 or 7 inches in height and the ripped muscles it still looks like me. lol So far he's coming along nicely.

I really hate the fact that it takes twice as long to build him up as it did on NBA 2K11. On NBA 2K11 by mid season my player was a superstar. Right now he is coming into his own gradually but not at the elite status yet. You can buy skill points now but they cost way too much. $200 thousand for just 200 skill points? That's not right. I wish I could just "drill skill" my way into elite status.

I try to focus heavily on offense mostly with consistency and being able to shoot in traffic. I just figured everything else would just fall into place. His shot rating is actually pretty good. Ball security and speed is what I really need to work on. He should be a golden goose by the playoffs. I love playing my player mode though. I equate this to gamers leveling up their characters in WOW or some other MMO game. I gotta say its addictive. lol

Tebow and Thomas Thwart New Overtime Rule. Will New Rule Be Added To Madden?

If you watched the game between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday then you saw some magic, "Tebow Magic". Just when you thought Denver might be taking an early off-season Tim Tebow and wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas put it in 5th gear. Tebow throws an 18 yard pass to Thomas who runs it down the field for another 62 yards for the touchdown. Now they did all this right at the start of overtime. We didn't even get to see how the new overtime rules would play out.

Here are the new playoff overtime rules via Bleach Report:

1. In order to win the game, the team who wins the coin toss must score a touchdown on their first possession.

2. In the event of a field goal, the opposing team gets a chance to score. If they kick a field goal, the game continues; if they score a touchdown, the game ends.

3. If the game is tied after both teams have had a possession, then the next score wins. In other words, the team who wins the coin toss can no longer just kick a field goal and advance a step closer to the Super Bowl.

Now I'm here's what I'm thinking; With the new overtime rules I'm wondering if they'll be updated to Madden anytime soon. I would love to see how that would play out when I play against an opponent online. I like that both teams have a chance to score. No one can eek out a win anymore which means you can't just try to kill the clock or get it close enough to the end zone to kick a quick field goal. Definitely sounds fair until its your favorite team that gets scored on. lol So far I haven't been in any overtime situations on Madden 12 yet to find out. When I do I'll post it up here for you guys to see.

The most useful favorable review:
Building Lower abdominal muscles
Although there are some positive aspects in most other critics, and I would have bought this game on the Internet to reach half the price I paid I feel like it's always good value. I have not had experience with Pilates and now I am very impressed with the outcome of the game frustrated because he said he was not exercising at the right pace, although I ' was, I felt like a good workout for the lower body. Yes, there are only 10 years, and if you have a lot of experience with the Pilates method, it may be easier for you. However, if you are a beginner, which are the muscles of the stomach of a good game that will help you achieve your goals is much less that he probably arrived in another game or a DVD, the squat. I want, when they make a sequel with more exercises.

The most helpful critical review:
huge disappointment ...
I love Pilates and was very impressed with the game of excitement. I thought Daisy Fuentes would be a good Pilates workout since it became a spokesman for the DVD to other popular Pilates in recent years. I was wrong. The game is so simple, it was called basic training or a beginner, do not do it justice. There are literally only 10 exercises are available and I knew I could do a maximum of 10 repetitions. The "bonus" feature of the game were nothing more than words on nutrition and exercise, and were so fundamental that they can not imagine that I know anyone on the planet are not already. As "eat less and exercise more" to lose weight. Overall I am very disappointed with my purchase and try to sell or market the game as quickly as possible.

UFC Undisputed 3 Hands-On Preview

I love the traditional pugilistic sport of Boxing and its hard for me to detract from the sport even though it has lost its classic luster from yesteryear. The sport has taken a hit over the years as the tradition boxer has changed. I don't even know what a true heavy weight is anymore. There isn't really a true heavy weight champion these days. The stars are literally gone. There's no Lennox Lewis, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, rest in peace Joe, or even a Sugar Ray Leonard. The great ones are gone and theirs no one really around to carry the torch.

There's a new wave of sport that's become a very popular fan favorite and that is MMA or mixed martial arts. Though there are still plenty of fans of Boxing MMA has almost replaced boxing. MMA draws a huge crowd these days. Before I thought it was a fad just like Vince McMahon's XFL. The only good thing to come out of that was XFL He Hate Me star Rod Smart who made a very quick trasition into the NFL when the XFL couldn't stand on its own two feet. The UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship, has shown that it is quite the opposite and that it has no plans of checking out early anytime soon.

The UFC has become so popular that it has made its way to home consoles letting gamers in on the experience of what its like to be a MMA fighters. Take a look as Blair Herter of X-Play dives into the MMA world as he gets a hands on preview of the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3 game.

NBA 2K12 - Classic Matches & Featured Gameplay

Well, it's finally here! The NBA season may not be up and running right now but we have our NBA 2K12. It will give us time to put our minds at ease while the NBA players and owners try, and I do use that word loosely, to mend their impairing situation. It doesn't look good as key players have either joined in sport in their own intramural leagues or have traveled outside the country to play for foriegn teams. But at least we have NBA 2K12. It doesn't necessarily replace the NBA but at least we can revel in the moment of this great basketball game. Check out the clips of the newly released game.

Rolling Start!: Sega Daytona 500

It seems like Sega is re-leasing Daytona USA really soon. I came across their promotional video they uploaded to their SegaAmerica YouTube page today. The video just features a bunny with comic bubbles asking to name that game by listening to a tune. After that they featured a sample of the tune for viewers to guess. I knew what it was right away. It was the Daytona USA game that I knew and loved.

Daytona USA was basically my favorite game next to Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn back in the day. I would spend hours upon hours playing the game. I remember being first in a lot of the races. lol I loved racing the different tracks that they had in the game. After you guess the tune game from the video you send an email to Sega of America to enter their contest. Check the video.

So Who's The Greatest?!: NBA 2K12

Drake and his airness, Michael Jordan debate over who's the greatest team. Drake is trying to incite that the Miami Heat are the greatest. Say What?!! Clearly they are not the greatest after losing to the Mavericks in the NBA Championship game last season. And just for making such a statement, like his song, he's on one. I'm with Jordan on that one, "Please."

He's Heating Up!: NBA Jam On Fire Edition

The NBA Jam game was one of my favorite games to play back in the day. I would spend hours playing that game trying to pull off all the aerial acrobatic dunks with my favorite player. I used to love breaking the glass back board in the forth quarter. Hearing that announcer say "He's Heating Up" or "He's On Fire" always got me going. I used to imitate his voice in front of my co-workers at one of my old jobs. I always had them laughing with that one. lol This is probably one of the few games that I'm happy to see come back. It just doesn't get old. Check out the trailer for the upcoming game. It will be here the same day NBA 2K12 will release, October 4. Hmm... decisions, decisions.
