Live updates from Apple WWDC 2009 on Twitter
The annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) kicks off today with a keynote address at 10 a.m., and we'll be there live-Twittering the event.
Apple executives, led by Philip Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, will speak to a crowd of news reporters and more than 1,000 independent developers.
Since this year's annual Macworld conference in January was set to be the company's last, WWDC now will be Apple's only major yearly venue for product announcements. We should expect a slew of new gadgets, computers and software to come out of today's speech.
The Technology Blog will be at Moscone Center in San Francisco to bring you up-to-the-second updates on announcements made during the keynote address.
We'll be Twittering the event, which you can follow at @LATimestech. Click the "read more" link below for a stream of those updates.
New tweets should appear automatically. If not, refresh the page.
