I like the most Atom based laptop, it is incredibly small. Much smaller than the equivalent Asus before, I bought myself.
This is not the speed demon, so if you need some real performance or expectations, in all probability, this is not the laptop for you.
I gave it 4 stars as follows: The hard drive is partitioned very clumsy. This is a hard disk with a C 39 320 GB hard primary split, then a 254GB, secondary reader. It can be a problem for all users to install programs and save files in their document folders and quickly established that they are out of the house because for some reason. I do not understand why they decided this.
Otherwise I like it. Incredibly small, Windows Seven, wireless, DVI and HDMI video output.

UFC on Xbox Live is doomed to fail.

Before you go off the handle in a MMA roid rage, hear me out. Right now as we speak it is failing to give out free spots before it goes to pay only. Yes alot of people are trying for this, but they should have expected it. They announced last week that they would give away some more free spots in the app to watch it. What were they thinking that only a few who missed the last chanced, because they opened it up while everyone was at work, would only take them up on their offer? They should have known that there is going to be thousands of us waiting in line for it like it was a Black Friday special. Since so many people are trying for this app, it does not work. Let me say that again.

Right now the app does not work.

Right now I am being bombarded with questions on the Ambassador chat about this. It is like we are caged dogs hungry for the fresh meat they threw out on the other side of the fence, and the lock on the door is broke.

Sorry just had to rant.

Kinect in space ?

How do you measure an astronaut's weight while he or she is in zero gravity? Back in 1965, someone figured out that a system could be created where an astronaut sits on a stool that has oscillating springs installed. The springs go up and down depending on the amount of mass. However this system takes up a lot of energy to run on board a space ship or the International Space Station.

Now New Scientist has posted word that a computer scientist claims to have figured out another way to measure an astronaut's weight in zero-g using Microsoft's Kinect motion gesture device. Carmelo Velardo of Eurecom in Alpes-Maritimes, along with other team members, used Kinect to create a 3D model of an astronaut.

Then the team used a database of 28,000 people to create a statistical model that links weight to body measurements. Carmelo claims that the final results are 97 percent accurate, which is what the current oscillating springs-based measurement device has.

The British are updating military simulators to keep up w/the Xbox Generation.

Apparently the British have some really old war simulators they are using to train their troops with. Now they are looking at looking to update their systems to compare with the newest commercial games to cater to an Xbox generation that are now starting to serve.

"The Ministry of Defense is looking to upgrade its clunky war training simulator in order to keep up with an Xbox-spoiled generation of trainees."


"The MoD currently uses something called Battlespace2; troops that were sent to Afghanistan had training with this digital war simulator. Too many hobbies, too little time

I've been playing Skylanders... I heard a soundtrack I quite liked so I decided I'd look it up, sadly it turned out to be one of those segmented, disjointed, transitional soundtracks... I was disappointed so I decided I'd take it upon myself to use my pro sound engineering skillz and fix up a more attractive, flowing version of it and after a couple of hours of toying I realised I didn't have time for it, and that there's a lot of other people out there that could do a better job than I, so I gave up... I decided I'd upload what I'd produced anyho, obviously it's unfinished, but hey.

Since I uploaded it I've received nothing but praise, listening back over it I didn't do such a bad job and probably should have another crack at it some time soon.

This may be the best remedy for sick puppies. It works, if they have puppies with diarrhea. If they jointly viruses or bacteria, Giardia, which is often good for them. The next day, they feel new, but you must keep on treatment for 5 consecutive days. It can not be good for fish, but with some puppies.

Losing or flatulence, is the way to go metronidazole
While the solubility is limited by the subway in alkaline water, it is still an effective treatment for flatulence and / or debilitating disease in cichlids. Read more

Christmas gaming leads to Mother attacking her children.

So your kid gets some video games for Christmas. Then later that night you decide to get drunk. What you then do not do is go into a rage about your son playing video games and attack and threaten to kill them with a butcher knife. Well that is what one mom decided to do Christmas night.
