Trying to get some info on this game is hard right now. I check out the RockStar Games website to see what they have on Max Payne 3 and all they have as of late are two new pictures of the game. This game has been delayed since last year. I guess the pics mean that they're getting closer to releasing the game. There's no official date on the website but I check about 4 retail sales websites and they have a release date of August 1st of this year. Another store had a date of December 12th later this year.
I didn't like the movie that came out last year. I'm hoping that the new game release will make up for it. I just wish they'd make up their minds on the release dates. RockStar Vancouver is developing the game. Rumor has it that they'll be using the same game engine that was used for GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. Max looks likes he's been through a whole lot since that last game. He's even lost his hair. He's more burly looking and his demeanor is more menacing. I'm looking forward to playing this game. This is definitely looking like a gun and chaos type of game as its always been. Anyways here are the latest pics and a teaser trailer.
Now if I barely play baseball then you know I don't play golf at all. I've watched golf from time to time but I don't really know the game. Plus its a little slow for my taste. Slower than baseball actually. Its a game based around precision and sometimes precision takes a little time to formulate.
Tiger Woods is back with another installment of his golfing series, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters. Now if I can't sit still to watch people play 18 holes I don't know how I'm gonna sit down and play 18 holes on a golf game. lol I'm a big fan of Tiger Woods despite his scandal last year which kind of hurt his play on the golf course. He seems to be taking care of his personal business and has got his mind focused towards golf again. Hopefully we can see him back at the Masters again to reclaim that green jacket of success once more. Here's a trailer of the latest game.
I'm not really big on baseball but I do respect the sport. I watch the games from time to time to get a better understanding of it. There are a lot aspects that I like about the game and there are some I don't. Since I'm pretty competitive and love to score hitting is what I love about the game. Catching would another aspect I love. I'd love put somebody out by catching a fly ball that was meant to be a home run hit. One thing that I don't like is sometimes not as fast as I would like it to be. Its not like football or basketball where you can score at a moments notice. Well I guess you could if you had team full of base stealers and home run hitters.
I've played baseball games but the one I'm even remotely good at is 20/20 Baseball. Lame, I know but the game is fun to play. I haven't play MLB 11: The Show or the previous games but I am familiar with the Major League Baseball 2K series. What I found from playing the 2K series was that the games weren't necessarily newbie friendly. I had a lot of trouble playing and trying to understand the game. I had problems hitting and pitching.
Now the general consensus seems to be that MLB 11: The Show seems to be a lot better than Major League Baseball 2K11. I did a Google search and found a few articles supporting that notion. GameSpot even rated MLB 11: The Show a 8.0 versus Major League Baseball's 7.5. So there is some truth to that.
MLB 11 seems to have simpler mechanics when it comes to hitting the ball making the game newbie friendly. That's something I definitely need. The game uses a pure analog control system for pitching, hitting , and throwing. It also has cooperative play of up to 4 players online and offline. The game has player creation with the new player performance evaluator feature. And for those big boys who shelled out $3000 for the new 3D TVs, there's the added feature of 3D stereoscopic functionality. You can even play the game with the new Playstation Move system.
I still might buy Major League Baseball 2K11 as well because they have that Perfect Game Contest going on. I wouldn't mind having a chance at a cool million. Check out the MLB 11: The Show Review below.
Man, the people over at ESPN, Doritos, and EA Sports sure are optimistic about the Madden 12 release. I hope they know that there's a NFL lockout going on right now as we speak with no immediate notions of anything getting settled anytime soon. If I were them I'd be thinking of saving the promotion for Madden 13. I sure do hope that the team owners and NFL Player's Union get this thing sorted out because its going to be a long fall season without football if they don't. Nevertheless, I guess the show must go on.
The campaign for the new Madden cover is underway and there are some viable candidates who want to be on it. A few notable ones come to mind. One would obviously the reigning champ of the Superbowl, Aaron Rogers. He definitely proved himself worthy in the playoffs. I saw some very spectacular play from him. He was actually waaaaaaaaaaay better than I thought. So I'm definitely eating some crow for that one.
The second one in my mind would be none other than Michael Vick. His talents proved supreme during last season as he an his Eagles tormented a handful of teams with their superhuman play. I think he was definitely humbled by his past wrong doings and redeemed himself on the football field. The third would be Matt Ryan. He willed his team all the way to the playoffs. The Atlanta Falcons were first in their division, with home field advantage, but got side swiped by the Packers in the end. Nobody saw that coming. If you say you did you're lying or better yet a Packers' fan.
The Madden curse seems to be over and done with. It seemed to stop right at Drew Brees for some reason. I guess the trade off was him not winning the Superbowl for the second time around. Serves him right. He and his team beat my beloved Colts! Ah(sigh), but I digress.Voting has already started. The first round of voting is over but the second round is currently underway. If you want to make your picks just click on the second round picture below and it will take you straight to ESPN's Madden Cover 12 voting site. Enjoy!
I remember when the first Parasite Eve game came out back in 1998. I was in college at the time. I had stopped in at a Best Buy store and bought that and the new Jay-Z - Hard Knock Life cd. Parasite Eve was a new breed of game at the time. I was an RPG no doubt but it was an action influenced RPG. The background story of the game was great. The gameplay was a little rudimentary at the time but what it lacked in gameplay it quickly made up in CGI video sequences that tied into the story. That definitely kept me playing the game. The second Parasite Eve was just the same.
The new game that features Aya Brea is devoid of all similarities as the recent installment tries to go a different path. Its not even called Parasite Eve. Its called The Third Birthday. So you don't really need to play the other two games to relate to the new one. The game starts out as Aya having no recollection of her past but she is quickly pulled into action when trouble arises. That trouble is called the Twisted, monsters that have eroded time and space and invaded a near future New York. Aya joins the CTI(Counter Twisted Investigation) squad to destroy the evil menace.
Aya's psyche is sent back in time using a machine called the "Overdrive". By using this particular device she is able to control troops to alter the outcome of battle in hopes of changing the future. The game is not without fault. There are some annoyances. The story is the main thing. Its broad and abstract covering a number of different themes. This is just one of those games where visuals take precedence over gameplay. So if you like a lot of action CGI action then this might be the game for you. Here's a trailer of the new game:
Last night I finally got a chance to play Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: The Fate of 2 Worlds. I have to say I was visually addicted. The bright lights and colors got me. I was hooked. I loved the long 3 minute intro. It felt longer than that. My brother and his friend rented it from blockbuster and stopped by. We spent the night tearing into the game.
It's a fun game, don't get me wrong, but I had some issues with it. The game is different from the other two previous games. Now aesthetically it was great but when it came to the gameplay I had some trouble. The game felt kind of dummied down. Ok correction it was dummied down. To me it didn't feel like the other 2 MVCs.
The game is move based. What I mean is that it focuses heavily on the characters using their special moves to create combos. Punches and kicks are rarely used. It felt more like a button masher to me that a regular fighting game. This means that anybody can win. Special moves and super moves are condensed into one button. So all you really need to do in the game is just practice your timing on when to strike your opponents.
The punches and kicks in the game that they do have serve no real purpose except for small combo linkages. They're not the same kicks and punches that you would use in Street Fighter to create combos. They're more ornaments on a Christmas tree if anything. To me I didn't feel like they were useful at all because my brother, who doesn't really play videogames, was kicking my butt all up and down gaming street. There were some instances where I couldn't even move. It was embarrassing.
I even got to play a couple of matches online which was actually kind of fun. The matches ran flawlessly without any bandwidth lags, skips, or errors. And this was on a wireless connection with my PS3. So I was very pleased about that. I think I even won a couple of matches. The fun part was gaining points from the matches and unlocking new characters.
All in all its still a very fun game to play with friends and family. I loved seeing all of the crazy super combos. Dante, Adam Wesker, Akuma, and Iron Man seem to be my favorite characters right now. Skillfully the game is kind of lacking. Its not like the other 2 where you could actually incorporate punches & kicks to tie in multiple combos. Everything is pretty much done from the push of a button. It's a double edged sword. The good thing is that it allows everyone to play but at the same time it allows everyone, who lacks skills in playing a fighting game, to beat you as well.
You don't just have to take my word for it. You can check out GameSpot's review of the game here:
Luck not so great at the casino? Losing all your money to your bookie? Just suck at gambling altogether? Well if you're pretty good and playing videogames then I have a pretty good place where you can make some paper. The place I'm talking about is GamerSaloon.com. At GamerSaloon is site where you can live up to your bragging rights and win money playing against other competitors online.
There are plenty of tournaments to join. Some have buy in prices and some don't. They have a pretty lengthy extensive library of games for you to join online with. They have games from practically every genre, with exception of RPGs. You can even set up your own matches for other people to compete against you. All you need to do is go to the site, create an account and deposit some money. GamerSaloon.com holds tournaments for several gaming mediums. You can compete via PC, Xbox 360, Plastation 2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and the Nintendo DS.
The deposit fees are 5 to 15 dollars at best, so you won't be paying too much. And remember, there are tons of free open tournaments where you can win some cash as well. You can check out a detailed video explanation here:
With the upcoming release of the Nintendo 3DS the excitement is overflowing. People are going crazy over this thing. There are people, who are standing outside stores as I type this up, just waiting to get their hands on it. I don't know about you guys but I have never stood outside waiting in line to buy a game system or game anything for that matter. I'll take that back. There was one time, only one time, that I stood in line for the midnight release of Metal Gear Solid 4, but that was it. I only stood outside for like 20 minutes though. There are people that stay out there for weeks. That's something I just can't do. I gotta life.
The latest Nintendo DS release features 3D without the used of 3D glasses. That seems to be the height of everyone's anticipation. There's also the simultaneous release of the 3DS's gaming line up which includes games such as Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Nintendogs + cats, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations, and Dead or Alive: Dimensions to name a few.
With that said I will leave you wild & crazy Nintendo 3DS fans with a little eye candy. Its a pre-release unboxing video feature from GameSpot. They can explain the features of the 3DS better than I can. Enjoy!
This game here is sort of an reinvention of all the old arcade games we all used to play. A few games come to mind now that I think about it. Its sort of a Pac-Man, Centipede, and Defender game rolled into one. It has all the familiar sounds and visuals of those games. If anything the game is Pac-Man on ex, with 2 shots of Tequila, 1 shot of bourbon, and 2 shots of whiskey for the chaser. At least thats how I would see this game if I was under the influence.
The game is very reminiscent of Pac-Man where you run around eating pellets, in this case Forget Me Not flowers, and avoiding monsters. The twist is that you have to retrieve a key and keep hold of it, away from the monsters, while you complete a level in order to advance. Sounds easier said than done. Forget Me Not has three different modes, standard, survival, and shuffle where you play random levels.
The is made for all devices running iOS 3.1.x. So what does that mean you ask? It means anyone with an IPad, IPhone, or IPod Touch can download it from the App Store and enjoy the hell out of it. The game was just recently released as of 3 days ago. For more info about the game you can check out the creators website here: http://nyarlulabs.blogspot.com
Today is a big day for Tomb Raider fans. If you're a religious Lara Croft fan like I am then you'll be happy to know that Tomb Raider Trilogy has been released for the PS3. The trilogy consist of three previous Tomb Raider games that have been remastered in HD format. The games that have been bundled up are Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Tomb Raider: Underworld.
This release has been made exclusively only to PS3 customers. Sorry Xbox owners. The new release also includes some extra goodies for the Tomb Raider elite in the form of extra content. The bundle comes with Tomb Raider Trilogy PlayStation 3 theme pack, the official Lara Croft female Home avatar outfit, the Viking Thrall male Home avatar outfit and a collection of “making of” trailers in HD for the entire series. Trilogy is available for purchase at your local GameStop. Here are some screens of the notable differences of detail from the PS2 version of Trilogy versus the PS3 version.
Another round of Gears of War is right around the corner. There are a lot of new goodies in the game such as new weapons, new baddies, new characters, and the introduction of, dare I say it, women! They finally put some eye candy in the game that we can look at. The game takes place right after Gears of War 2 when Marcus and the gang had to sink the city of Jacinto, the last haven city for humans, in order to destroy the Locusts' underground stronghold due to the imulsion. Well the imulsion does something crazy to the Locusts' which carries on into Gears of War 3. Just from looking at the previews alone, the game looks great. There's a lot of action in this game.
The schedule for the game release has been pushed up somewhat. Originally the game was slated for release late this year around the Christmas season. It has been recently pushed up to September. The beta demo will be released next month April. The beta will feature several online multiplayer modes such as team death match, capture the leader, king of the hill, fan favorite - horde mode, and beast mode where you play as a Locust. Here's an interview with Cliff Blezinski, Design Director for Epic Games, as he explains the details of Gears of War 3. Listen carefully because he talks pretty fast. lol
If you liked movies like L.A. Confidential and the Black Dahlia then you might like playing L.A. Noire. L.A. Noire is set in Hollywood's Golden Age period. You play as a detective who rises up from the ranks to solve a murder. The game is made by Rockstar Games and Team Bandai.
This is another soon to be great Rockstar game in the making. I love the way that they make their games. They are very engaging. They all play out like movies and you're always the star right in the middle of the plot. I always spend hours playing their games because they're never ending. There is always something else to do.
The game is based from real events, crimes, and cases from that time period. They even have a unique feature in the game where you see the characters' real facial expressions in the game. It is a new motion technology that they use to do it. The game is set for release May 17. I"m looking forward to playing this one. Check out the video preview here.
Looks like there might be another Street Fighter movie in the works. Joey Ansah, actor and movie producer has hashed out a script. He says with the right funding from investors and licensing from Capcom he could bring the movie to life within 5 months. He plans to make the movie as close to the gaming series as possible. The plans for this movie have actually been in the works for about over a year now but Ansah took on other projects. In between that time though he managed to finish a script for Street Fighter.
Recently, Ansah did the voice-over for the character Chino in Crysis 2. I hope he gets all that business out the way and pulls this off. I'd love to see another Street Fighter movie. Well one that's actually done right. The first one was ok for the gaming series actually coming to light. The one that featured Chun-Li wasn't so hot. I've been a Street Fighter fan for years. Its the fighting game of all fighting games. Having a great movie that can compliment the series would be great for the fans and the franchise. From the looks of this trailer it seems that it could head that way. Take a look.
Kratos, "The God of War", will be featured in the new Mortal Kombat release. Sorry Xbox elite, this is exclusively only for the PS3. No exclusive character for the Xbox 360 has been mentioned yet. I'm so happy I have a PS3 now. Though Kratos will be featured in the game he will not be featured in the story line. He will though have is own moves, fatalities, and his own God of War based stage. I always wanted to see how he would fare against the MK characters. Now I will get my chance.
There's one more character I wish they would add into the MK series. That would be Nariko from Heavenly Sword. She would make a perfect fit to Mortal Kombat with her range of moves. I think I might make a case for that and write to the guys over at NetherRealm Studios to plead my case. I think Nariko is a shoe-in for the game. Here is some detailed video of Kratos in action from the Playstation Blog.
Hey everyone, we're back for the Out-Cast Episode 16. We have a lot to talk about in this one. We give our thoughts on the AOU2011 Arcade Show along with Dan Feit once again in the 4th chair. Then each of us picks one game to talk about in depth before we move into our "heated" discussion of Sony's PSP2, the NGP.
Ok by now I guess we all kind of know that Marvel is kind of big in the videogame industry. The characters from the comics, their names speak for themselves, hence why we go buying every Marvel novelty including videogames. We buy the games because we want to be that particular superhero. We want to know what it's like to save the world and to have superpowers. I, for one, would love to have Thor's powers of lightning & thunder. That mighty damn hammer wouldn't be a bad pick up either.
Sega is releasing yet another Marvel game. They seem to be doing all the Marvel releases. Well them and Activision. I didn't really like the Iron Man game they released. That was as bad as 50 Cent's first videogame release, 50 Cent: Bulletproof. Now that really sucked. The Thor game seems to pack a punch just as the aforementioned Captain America game from my last post. I could make my Thursday nights with these beat'em up games. Here's the preview.
They may have killed him off in the Marvel comic books but he lives on in videogames. The super soldier has been born again, so to speak, in another action packed brawler, Captain America: Super Soldier. But this time he's not fighting alongside Wolverine, Spiderman, Cyclops, or Thor. In this game he's on his on taking on the German Third Reich baddies from World War II. From the looks of the preview this looks to be a brawler type of game similar to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I love beat'em up games with a lot of action and chaos. They really put you in the moment. I'm looking forward to playing this one. Here's the preview scooped up from G4.
Remember when she played Seven of Nine some years back on Star Trek: Voyager? Of course you do. Who doesn't? She's also been on other TV shows such as Boston Public, Boston Legal, The O.C., Leverage, and most recently, Body of Proof. Now she's taking on the role as Sonja Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat web series airing April 19. The web series airs the same day of the Mortal Kombat game release. I'll been looking forward to that. Heres a interview of Jeri with Andy Allo, from G4, as she talks about the upcoming web series.
Just a few days ago I was just getting over the upcoming release of the new portable Sony NGP. Now I see that they're gonna have a Playstation Phone. The phone is actually called the XPeria Play. It's a 1Gz power house that will feature Google Android's latest platform Gingerbread 2.3. The phone itself has memory of up to 400mb and microSD support of up to 32GB. The phone has a screen that is actually bigger than that of the IPhone's screen at 4 inches with a palette of over 16 million colors. The XPeria Play also includes a camera with a flash function and additionally incorporates a video light for recording. The phone is backed by a lot of Google software and supplies tons of connectivity.
As far as the gaming functionality is concerned the XPeria Play with be backed by the Sony Computer Entertainment and their partners such as Digital Chocolate, Gamehouse, Electronic Arts, Gameloft, Namco Bandai Networks, Trendy Entertaintment, & PopCap, just to name a few. The XPeria will have access to PlayStation® gaming software and content. This mean that people that will own the phone will get a lot of exclusive downloads and perks. The gaming that will be provided for the phone will be that of 3D gaming, Gesture Gaming, and Motion gaming. The phone is currently released in select markets as we speak.
Don't get me wrong, it sounds like a cool phone but I don't think I would have one. I barely play games on my android phone as it is. I like to keep my gaming gadgets separate from my necessity gadgets. For me there is no mixing of the two. For others though I'm sure it would be a big ticket item. You can get more information of the XPeria Play from here:
Guess What?! Mortal Kombat is coming back! Oh Yeah! You notice how they keep rehashing the classics? Transformers, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Tron, Yogi Bear,... Mortal Kombat? I guess if it worked the first time might as well keep on trying it till they get tired of it. Either they're lacking a whole lot of imagination and originality or they just love the classics. I'm going for the latter of the 2.
The new Mortal Kombat is a reimaging of the original game with a few nuances. This is a serious beat'em up type of game with a lot of combo action. The release for this game is less than a month away, April 19th to be exact. I'm looking forward to this one. I've already pre-ordered it. Here some featured video of the upcoming release.
I was browsing Gamespot and came across this Homefront video review. Seems like a pretty decent game but I'm kind of tired of the whole war type genre. I just think if you're gonna make a war genre based games you should throw in a whole lot of twist. Probably something like Metal Gear Solid series. Now those games were really worth playing. They had a lot of serious plot twists. Sometimes I get tired of just running around and shooting stuff. I don't know maybe I'm getting old. Here's the video preview.
After almost a 12 year hiatus the Duke Nukem: Forever project finally comes into fruition. I've never seen development for a game, after being held out for so long, be brought back from the dead. This is a huge first. Its good to see it come back to life though and actually have a release date tagged to it.
I always liked the Duke Nukem series. I love those "Bad Mofo" type of characters. It brings the man out in me. It makes you feel like you need to be in a war or something. lol Here's the inside info trailer from XPlay of the upcoming release.
Update: Duke Nukem: Forever has been postponed till June.
I saw this on Attack of The Show last night and I just had to put it up. It was hilarious. I need to plan a couple of robberies so she can put those two "crime stoppers" in my face. lol
The king of shooters sits in his throne holding his cup of libation in one hand and his Famas Assault Rifle in the other as laughs at all his challengers below. Treyarch has good reason to sit on top of their high horses right now. One big reason is that Call of Duty: Black Ops sits on top as the game of games. It beat out not only other shooters but all other games as well.
Last month was very good to Treyarch and Activision as Black Ops sold 535,000 copies for February making it the Top game in the United States. I mean everybody and their mama plays this game. I know because I've lost in too many multiplayer matches to count. I'm lucky if I last a good 2 minutes in a match. The people that play are good and come for blood.
From the Xbox alone, approximately 166,000 have accumulated over 2 million hours of gameplay. Averaged out that about 12.05 hours per player. Thats half a day's worth of playing the game. I'm sure most of that is spent playing in multiplayer matches. I guess the campaign is treated as a bonus. The multiplayer portion of the game is the main feature. Right now, if you check http://raptr.com/game/360/Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops, there are over 12 million accumulated hours of gameplay amongst players. That really says a lot about this game.
Not only is Black Ops the present king of shoots, it currently serves as reigning king of games beating out notable titles such as Halo Reach, Modern Warfare 2, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Bulletstorm, AC: Brotherhood, Dead Space 2, Gears of War 2, and several others according to GameSpot.com.
So, to sum it up in one word, this game is fire. I had Call of Duty: Black Ops for a short while but I didn't like it. In the end I had to take it back. I'm not knocking Black Ops, its a great game, but I'm more of a Gears of War fan myself. I'm thinking with the release of Gears of War 3 it will slowly fall from grace and Gears will serve as the new king.
Here's the latest trailer to Batman: Arkham City featured on GameSpot. I love the background music. It fits the montage of the video. I can't wait till this game comes out. Enjoy!!
For the longest I've been trying to find out who this guy was. I've seen him in a bunch of commercials, recently Sony PS3 commercials, and other various TV shows. He even had his own TV show for a short, very short while. I've just always called him the PS3 guy. He's so funny in those Sony PS3 commercials. His real name is Jerry Lambert and I check out his resume on IMDB and he's actually done a lot of work on screen.Right now though he's definitely known for doing commercials for Sony. I can watch those all day as long as he's in them. Here's his latest:
Next Generation Portable, that's what its called. I headed over to Playstation.com to blog about something else and I came across this. The NGP will be the latest successor to the PSP. It promises a new experience in hand held portable gaming. Its features include:
Dual analog sticks
Front and rear cameras
Front multi-touch display
Multi-touch rear pad
GPS
SIXAXIS motion sensors
5-inch Organic Light Emitting Display (OLED)
The portable gaming system will also include Wi-Fi 3G connectivity allowing location based gaming amongst players. The system will be generously bundled with your favorite adventure hero Nathan Drake in Uncharted Portable. Now thats something I'd like to get my hands on.
The NGP is slated for release towards the end of this year. You can watch this video interview of Kazuo Hirai, President of Sony Computer Entertainment, as he explains more about the upcoming release.
Looks like Batman is right back at it like a crack addict who needs his next fix. He's kickin' ass and not takin any names in the next Batman installment Batman: Arkham City. The game is scheduled for release in October of this year. I know, it is a long ways away. I'm gonna keep myself busy trying to finish up the previous release Arkham Asylum. I'll probably take my time with that one since there's a whole lot of ass kicking involved, which I really like.
The Batman games have really come a long way. I don't think I've played Batman games this good since Batman returns. I'm really impressed with the revamped Batman. Makes you love a superhero with no powers and a lot of ass kickin' skills huh? Arkham City promises to be just as good as Arkham Asylum and then some. In Arkham City you'll have a bigger environment to roam through and enemies with better AI. That's artificial intelligence for the slow mo's. They've also upgraded Batman with new skills and gadgets. Here some video explaining more about the game:
I remember this getting talked about a couple of years back. I just never saw it happening with the way people's original modeled Xbox 360s kept burning out with the mysterious 3 rings of death. I guess now they're speaking it back into existence. IPTV or internet protocol television delivers TV programming to households via a broadband connection which is primarily ran over a phone line.
So in essence its like having the AT&T service on your xbox. Well that wouldn't work for me because I run through Comcast and they use coaxial cable. Having that kind of service would be kind of redundant anyways for people who already have premium TV programming. I wouldn't want to pay two premium channel providers. That would be stupid.
It seems like these days a lot of iconic figures are being rehashed and brought back from the dead for the new generation. Its all good with me as long as its worth bringing back. The Transformers were definitely worth bringing back. I never thought they could ever bring the Transformers to a live action screen. Actually I definitely would've settled for another animated version. But after seeing the last 2 live action Transformer movies I've been geeked. Both of them were fun to watch and not they're coming out with a third; Transformers: Dark Moon. Now here's the kicker. For each Transformer movie there has also been a game release.
Now I've never really been fond of the TF games too much. To me they've never really lived up to the movies or the original animated series. I feel like they lack a little edge for the more hardcore gamer. I haven't played Transformers: The War For Cybertron yet so the jury is still out. I just check out a trailer for that and it seems to have the edge that the last two releases lack. I'm sure other people have different opinions that why they've come out with a fourth gaming release for the upcoming Dark Moon movie. Here's a trailer for the future release:
