This is a genre of gaming that has really taken flight. I've been really slow to jump on the bandwagon but I'm glad I finally did. Guitar Hero 3 has been my favorite as of late mainly because of the songs. Now I'm not a true Rock lover but a lot of those songs grow on you as you play through the game. I'm still not a ace with the guitar though. Now with the release of Guitar Hero 5 I'm hoping it will take GH3's place as my new favorite. It seems that with this new installment of Guitar Hero they've made it more casual and user friendly. You can just start the game up and literally start playing. You can form up your own band and even add your own avatar in the mix. Another thing is that you don't have to battle characters to use them anymore. I kind of liked the boss battles though.
