Xbox 720: E3 “premature,” “nothing new in 2012″

The news came from Cedrick Delmas, marketing director of Microsoft France, during an interviewwith Lepoint.Fr.

In a response to a question inquiring about the rumor suggesting the announcement of the next Xbox at E3 this year, Cedrick said:

“We’re in an industry that talks a lot, that likes to tell stories. I am not convinced things will happen this year. Xbox 360′s cycle is not at all finished. The proof is that we don’t see the logic in cutting the price this year. E3 is still premature. What’s certain is that there’ll be nothing new in 2012.”

Delmas said that Microsoft won’t be making any hasty moves in a bid of counter Nintendo as they prepare to launch Wii U.

“We’re not here to counter Nintendo and they’re not here to fight the other manufacturers. Nintendo has put itself in a different cycle, they’re advancing at their own pace.”

EA WIDE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULED 1/31/2012

Forget about playing Battlefield 3 or Need for Speed The Run on multi-player between 12:00 a.m. PST and 3:00 a.m. PST tomorrow. That is because EA will be taking their servers offline to do a little routine maintenance. Read below for EA's statement on the matter.

A number of EA's services will be temporarily unavailable on Tuesday, January 31 as we undergo a brief scheduled maintenance.

If you play a game that requires you to log in to our servers, such as Battlefield 3 or Need for Speed The Run, you will need to wait until the maintenance period has concluded to begin playing again. Star Wars: The Old Republic will be offline for slightly longer due to a separate scheduled maintenance. EA games that can be played in Offline Mode should remain playable.

Users will be unable to log in to the Origin client, Online Multi-Player game lobbies, or the Origin store while maintenance is taking place. As a result, you will be unable to purchase games or redeem codes during the maintenance window.

Maintenance is scheduled to begin at 12:00 a.m. PST and end at 3:00 a.m. PST on January 31, 2012.

As we work to improve our service to the EA community, we’d like to thank you again for your patience and support. Video Review - Final Fantasy XIII-2

I know some people think that the Final Fantasy franchise may have fallen off a little bit but I still love the series. Its my favorite RPG series mainstay. I think one of the reasons maybe that RPG gaming is going towards more action based gaming instead of the old turn-style routine. Now there some instances of action within Final Fantasy XIII but not enough to where you can go about hacking and slashing at everything you see. Its more or less the push button sequences during a battle or a huge event in the game.

Now with the release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 you'd hope to see an improvement but this time around you play as Lighting's younger sister Serah. You'd hope this game would be as good or better than the last installment but to some gamers Serah might not be as appealing as Lighting was in FFXIII. Check out the review from GameSpot.

The biggest problem I noticed on the 505 is the variability of the size of the thigh area, meaning that a loose fit and some seem rather tight, even though in theory the same size of a label. Since the 501 is more permissive than in the design, if you buy online, you might consider instead 505, unless you do not want the Execute button. Are these really 501's ? My husband has other Levis 501 and the new are different in the weight of the fabric (light), parameter (defined in the leg and groin) and stitching color (white). Rivit and the buttons are white metal rather than color. Also decreased during washing with cold water and dried. Levis 501 is it real or fall? They are made in Mexico, the more it grows in Colombia and heavy fabrics are regularly works Levi 501 jeans. We are not happy with these pants, but wash and wear. I have never seen again.
