As if things couldn't get any worse Square Enix got hacked. According to the BBC the hackers attacked 2 of the Japanese company's websites. One was Eidosmontreal.com, which is run by Eidos, a subsidiary of the company and the other was Deusex.com, which is a promotional site for the upcoming game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Up to 25,000 customer's information may have been compromised including 350 people applying for jobs.
This is really getting out of hand. First the PlayStation Network and now Square Enix, which are both Sony related. You would think that a companies like Sony or Square Enix would be hard to break into via the internet. Now I see nothing is safe. What's next? The weird thing is that they are hacking these sites so effortlessly. If they can do this to Sony who else can they do this too? Everybody and every entity is so vulnerable on the internet right now.
