Xbox Live "FIFA Hacks" Continue to be a growing concern.

Gaming website Joystiq is once again updating us on the concerns of the Xbox Live FIFA Hacks that they reported on last month. The article is basically a follow up, but also addresses that there is growing concern that Live has been compromised. The only relief they can give us gamers is that Microsoft says LIVE ID has not been compromised. Until someone proves otherwise, you will have to take their word on it.

"Windows Live ID was not compromised. The FIFA '12 and other similar incidents are cases of social engineering or phishing, which are industry wide problems. Microsoft constantly audits its systems and reviews its processes in an effort to help protect customers from such issues," a Microsoft spokesperson told us. "To help avoid becoming a victim of phishing, people can use the guidance found at the Microsoft Hotmail: Serious About Safety site. They can also visit the Windows Live Hotmail Help Center, if they believe their account was compromised."

Here is some tips I can give you.

• Good strong password
• Do not give anyone or website your Live ID
• Check your purchase history on Xbox Live to make sure there are no unwanted purchases.
• Never give your credit info to 3rd party websites claiming Xbox promotions
• Remove your credit information from Xbox.com and pay with Xbox point cards.
• Know who your gaming with. Don't accept friends just to be a friend hoarder.
• Know who has access to your Xbox or computer.
