I don't know what it is but American pop culture has an astounding affinity for Zombies so much that its crazy to me. I used to think that if you've seen one zombie movie then you've seen them all. I felt that way for games as well. If you've played one then you've played them all. That doesn't seem to fly with the rest of my fellow Americans. I don't know but I guess the zombie genre just got a little too cliche for me I guess. I always know how the plot is gonna turn out so I get bored really easily and check out.
I'm not gonna lie though, I did purchase the Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare DLC the other night for my PlayStation 3. So I guess I'm not all zombied out. The zombie genre has definitely received its fair share of the gaming industry's pie and it doesn't seem like its gonna go anywhere anytime soon.
The developers of Call of Duty: Black Ops have added one last Zombie DLC to the game called Rezurrection. This DLC features 5 multiplayer maps. They even have one where you fight it out on the surface of the moon. If you've played the Dead Space series you know it's always fun shooting undead things in space. The moon map is the newer of the multiplayer maps. The other four are remastered versions of the originals from the Call of Duty: World At War title, “Nacht der Untöten,” “Verrückt,” “Shi No Numa,” and “Der Riese,”. Watch the video as the developers discuss the DLC in full detail.
