Airplanes, guns, and airships, oh my! I found this game browsing IGN earlier. Believe it or not this is an MMO game that's played in the air. The story is seldom to none right now for this game. The teaser trailer doesn't detail too much either other than the fact that it's a game designated for the air. I even checked out the website, Muse Games, and they didn't have much to speak on about their own game. Hmm... puzzling. I later checked out Gamespot and realize the game was previously in production and was first featured as a web based game at first. They had planned a downloadable version of the game but it received poor ratings. Gamespot gave it a 4.0 rating which is poor.
I was beginning to wonder why this game was even featured on IGN. Apparently they've rebooted the game and are preparing for its re-release next year hence the new trailer. It looks a lot different from the one they had a couple of years ago. The game has been re-imagined and redefined. By the comparisons of the two trailers, old and new, the graphics have been tremendously upgraded or maybe that's just the difference of SD video and HD video. lol
One of the other things that I learned about the game is the kind of style that it was dressed in which is fairly new to me. Or maybe not so new, I just didn't know that it was coined that way. What I'm referring to is the term "steampunk". Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s as stated by Wikipedia. Its themed in elements of fashion, culture, art, and architectural style from the Victorian era. Steampunk is involved where steam powered machines are widely used, the Victorian style airships in this game. For a game that I know little about I sure did write a lot. lol Check out the videos.

Teaser Trailer for 2012 Reboot Game
Ok after searching long and hard for info on this game I realized all that I had to do was finish watching the teaser trailer which brought me the games website, http://gunsoficarus.com, which details the game in full. It's funny how I googled the game and this website did not even show up in the searches. Weird.
