I love fan made films. They're so interesting to watch and so damn creative. Fans literally put a lot of time and dedication into what they love. I came across these two fan films via G4's website, Find Markarov & Operation Kingfish. They are live action films based on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise. These aren't no flim flam productions neither.
If you check out the website, http://www.findmakarov.com/credits, you will see that Find Markarov was a full fledged project with writers, directors, cast, and crew. You can tell because the short film looks amazing. Find Markarov was so popular that the team behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 funded the next project, Find Markarov: Operation Kingfish which was featured at today's Call of Duty XP Event in Los Angeles, CA.
