I've been waiting to get my hands on this game but I may have to wait a little while until I've played through some of my other games. Lately I've made quite a few purchases in games but I haven't really had the chance to play and review the fully like I should. This is definitely going into my collection though. It's not running away from me. The will still be in the PlayStation Store when I'm good and ready to get it.
Developers are really making an effort to bring back the days of the 2D Sidescroller. They remind us of games that we used to love like Castlevania, Super Mario Bros., and Ninja Gaiden. They fit perfectly in the modern gaming market as the downloadable games of today. They download fast and they're quick and easy to play. Short and sweet as I would say. And its all for $15. A game like this, Blood Rayne: Betrayal, in the format that it's in would've been a $60 or $70 game back in the days of the Nintendo, SNES, Sega Genesis, and Sega Master System. My parents never purchased me a game that cost that much ever. I was picking from the bargain bins. lol Check out the preview.
