I floated over to Siliconera.com and grabbed some screens of the new King of Fighters game. Now I don't have the game but I talked to my brother who has it and it he says it wasn't really worth the purchase. I'll reserve my judgment for now. I want to play it fully before I make any comments. I used to love the King of Fighters series. I used to think of them of as an x-clan of street fighters from another dimension. There are a lot similarities between Capcom's Street Fighter series and SNK's King of Fighter series. Well you have Ryo Sakazaki who has moves similar to Ken and Ryu but plays more like Dan. Then there's Joe Higashi who I've always compared to Sagat just because of the Muay Thai kickboxing correlation. There's also Terry and Andy Bogard who are basically Ken and Ryu in the SNK series. My favorite out of the King of Fighters series has always been KOF 94. It was the first and the best in my opinion. I'm gonna see if my brother will let me borrow his copy so I can possibly write a little review on it. Enjoy the screens.
