It seems that Sony is planning to go slim with the PS3 now. The news is that Sony has made manufacturing agreements to Foxx Conn & Pegatron to start making the slimmer modeled Playstation 3. The new model is said to be released sometime between this month and next month. Details about the new model have yet to be revealed. The original 80gig models will be discontinued and new models of the slimmer PS3 of 40 and 80gigs will be made available. Around sometime in the fall Sony will introduce the PSP-Go which will be a UMD-less PSP that will be much lighter and have less power consumption. The retailed price will be $249.99 as suggested by Amazon.com. I checked Amazon.com and they have a release date for the PSP-Go of October 1st. To get a full story of the slim PS3 and PSP-Go go here:
