EA Sports goes in depth with Madden 12 showing the ins and outs of the game. Hopefully, just hopefully, the NFL and the NFL Players Union will get the deal done so we'll be back to the business to football. I heard something was supposed to happen in the next coming weeks. The good thing about this game is that they fixed the tackling fiasco.
I played my brother in Madden 11 last night and he's pretty good in the running game. Somehow he finds ways to bury my defense in the ground. I try to tackle him and no matter what team he has he always manages to take us for a ride and gain more yards. I know there are some special players in the NFL that can do this every now and then but not everybody. Its so annoying and I hate it. The runs he gets in the game are so fantasy and far from being realistic.
He runs through, around, and spins through my defense. I grab him with a defender and he manages to get away. I throw 3 or 4 guys at him and he shakes them all off. I asked him what he was doing to bust through my defense and he said all he was doing was waiting for the right moment and hitting the spin button. Now that's some stuff that I cannot mention on this blog. lol If it was that easy then I would have a better running game. In Madden 12 they've actually made weight, size, and momentum count for something. So when I tackle him he's gonna go down instead of rolling down the field like a giant bowling ball.Luckily I have a really good passing game to nullify his runs and I'm not left licking my defensive wounds on the field.
