Uncharted 3 Beta Multiplayer Gameplay Video

I downloaded the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer beta today and played a little of it. Once you install it you arrive at a configuration menu where you can customize your player and your emblem, which by the way I made a really good one. Take a look:

 

It took some time but that's what I came up with. If you look to the right there's a little TV screen called Uncharted TV. It shows some quick vignettes of the game along with some interviews of the actors, developers, and producer Amy Hennig. You make it full screen by pressing L1 and mute or unmute the sound by pressing L2. 

 

The multiplayer menu allows you to enter the game as a hero or a villain. You can pick a pre-rendered hero and go in as Drake or create your own hero. You can also do the same for the Villain option. The menu also allows you to select weapon, upgrade and add bonus options called loadouts.  You can even change your taunts. There not the best ones. Just pick one and go with it.

Once you've made your selections and you're ready to play just select matchmaking it will take you to another menu showing a list of online matches you can choose from. You have and option of:

• Team Deathmatch
• Free For All
• Three Team Deathmatch
• Hardcore 
• Co-op Arena

I went with the Free For All option just to get a feel of playing online. The match played very well. There was no lagging or skipping at all. I even got 5 kills. That's better than when I played on Black Ops. I was lucky to even get one kill on that game. My kill to death ratio was pretty good for my first time out. I was 5:9 which isn't that bad for somebody who doesn't really play online multiplayer shooters all that much. It was a whole lot better since there weren't a lot of people in the match. There were only 10 people playing compared to Black Ops 15 or so. It made things a lot more easier for me.

It's really worth the download. It will keep me busy until the full game releases. I could practice on my shooting in the meanwhile. If you haven't downloaded it do it now.  Don't let me get a big head thinking I can take anybody out. lol Watch the video.
